Process
After Ahmed provided me with his original documentary footage, I took some time to brainstorm creative concepts and visual messaging pertaining to the theme of a portrait of water.
I utilized Behance, Are.na, free stock images, and Pinterest to brainstorm and collate images that matched the artistic vision I had in mind. Carl Jung and his works like The Red Book are a huge inspiration to Ahmed and I, so I knew I wanted this project to feel in communication with his symbology and teachings.
Miro came in handy for developing design documentation and prototype procedures.
